The MSN and DNP programs are delivered entirely online, although some clinical courses will require a visit to Columbia, South Carolina. The courses are highly interactive, with group work, multimedia presentations, and peer critiquing. The programs are also delivered using Blackboard course management, which allows for asynchronous delivery.

University of Texas at Tyler School of Nursing

The University of Texas at Tyler School of Nursing has been a popular school in the state for more than 40 years. Graduates are employed in a wide variety of settings. More than 95 percent of graduates secure a job within two years of graduation, and many plan to continue their education and pursue a doctorate. Elmhurst University School of Nursing

The school’s undergraduate and graduate nursing programs have received national recognition, and in October, the school added a doctorate degree program. Founded in 1957, the SUNY institution is based on the suburbs of Long Island, and the school’s academic calendar is semester-based. Tuition for students is $10,410 per semester.
